Computer Programming II is a course which expands on the concepts and knowledge base gained in the Computer Programming I course and teaches more advanced programming concepts in the Visual Basic language.  Students will be introduced to a business focus concentrating on professional layout and design that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
 
Weekly Agenda
Week of January 3-6, 2012

1/3:  Go over this semster's focus, Refamiliarize with Visual Studio... 2003 vs. 2010

1/4:  Review proper naming convention, Moving to & from design view to code view, Saving to the H:// !!! (always), Review the Development Cycle

1/5: PSAT Results

1/6: Intro to Use Case Definition, Sample "Hotel Room Selection", Use Case Definition "Car Rental Selection"

Week of January 9-13, 2012
1/9: Create User Interface for Car Rental, Use Proper Naming Convention, Code

1/10: Continue Creating Car Rental project. If finished, choose an extra practice project from the programming center.
Week of January 23-27, 2012
1/25: Sub today. Continue working on the “Wood Estimate Calculator.” Some are still working on this, others finished yesterday. I’d like those who need to work on it to keep working. Those that are finished need to work on a Visual Basic project from the learning center or a Visual Basic project of their choice.
 
1/26: Catch Up Day
 
1/27: Intro to Rock, Paper, Scissors.
